May, 1866, for the Long US filed for a Patent for the early crown lift, precision work of quality 1A decreased with screwed gold chatons and Diamond endstone, gold escape wheel, gold anchor, Repetition of hours and quarters, as well as the date, original, signed enamel dial, blued steel hands, fully functional, very good condition, a absolute rarity. This watch comes from the 1. Series of only 6 watches of the Long, equipped with a quarter-hour-repeater (No. 7647-7652). Only 2 of the watches were equipped with a double complication, with an additional date, of which Long a total of only 22 copies produced. The watch is supplied with the master excerpt from the book. She was sold in 1872 to the New York company "Charles William Schumann". Lieutenant master excerpt from the book, it is the oldest preserved repeater pocket watch by A. Lange & Söhne.
