Ø58mm, ca. 150g, typisches Arnold Silbergehäuse, beidseitig aufklappbar, à-goutte, Londoner Hallmarks 1818, Gehäusemacher-Punze TH (Thomas Hardy), No.3022, übereinstimmend mit der Werksnummer auf der Platine, Platine signiert und nummeriert, Arnold Federchronometer mit extrem seltener Regulierung "right-angle compensation", prächtig gravierter Kloben, Stahl-Unruh, originales, signiertes und nummeriertes Emaillezifferblatt (fein haarrissig), Goldzeiger, funktionstüchtig. Es ist sehr schwer, ein unverändertes Arnold Chronometer mit dieser seltenen Werksausführung zu finden. Das Chronometer wurde erstmals 2001 in Genf versteigert und stammt aus einer bedeutenden Chronometersammlung. Es erzielte 2001 in Genf 13.800 Schweizer Franken (https://www.cortrie.de/go/wL8). Die Experten in Genf schrieben damals zu dieser Uhr: "It is rare to find an unconverted Arnold escapement; it is even rarer to find one with such unusual compensation. In a regular compensation curb all parts are made fixed and are installed as such; they cannot be adjusted, and they either work correctly or do not. In this watch, the compensation can be adjusted by changing the point at which it acts on the regulator pin: the closer to the center, the greater the compensation, the farther away, the lesser the compensation.
