About: Ø53mm, approx. 110g, 18K Gold Savonnette à goutte, case 2 tray signed and numbered, Vacheron & Constantin Anchor chronometer movement, the special quality with micrometer-screw fine adjustment, and a large gold chronometer balance, upper servatoriums-Prüfpunze 1904 on the balance cock, original enamel dial (fine hairline crack), signed, blued steel hands, precision pocket watch of the finest quality. The Vacheron Constantin-made "Demi-Chronomètre" are extremely rare. The Name "Demi-Chronomètre" was used by Vacheron & Constantin, to indicate that these watches at the Observatory were sent to the chronometric control, but for commercial reasons, not long enough to complete the entire test run. They were mainly equipped with the rare regulation, and Guillaume balance, as is the case with the present copy,. In addition, the year was hallmarked clamp of the audit, on the balance, in the case in 1904.
