Lot 4245 | Pocket watch: unique Patek Philippe pocket watch with enamelled coat of arms, and a minute repeater, sold to Tiffany in 1901, with a special original box, and trunk book excerpt
About Ø51mm, approx. 102g, 18K Gold, à goutte, rear-side enamel coat-of-arms enameled nobility, excellent quality, dust lid with dedication engraving, for the first time in 1902, given to a Mr. C. de Heredia, a highly fine Patek Philippe precision movement with minute repeater, original enamel dial with extremely rare Tiffany sank spelling, original made in father Philippe(see the book excerpt), blued steel hands, case and movement number are the same 112058, dial with a very fine, barely visible hairline crack next to the pointer shaft, overall very nice condition, fully functional. The watch is in a special 3-part box made of wood with an applied monogram in Gold, C DE H, according to the dedication on the dust cover. The watch was delivered to Patek in Tiffany, and is likely to be an order of a noble house, which gave the watch to Mr de Heredia. In this completely original preservation, including the Box, the watch is unique. Patek Philippe pocket watch with minute repeater and enamel case are extremely rare!
