Approx. 50mm, approx. 106g, 18K white Gold, gorgeous floral engraved savonnette case à goutte, all 3 lid signed, case and movement number are the same 19660, precision decreased work of very high quality, with solid gold wheels, wolf's toothing, anchor escapement, Repetition of hours and quarters of an hour, also signed and numbered, original, very well preserved enamel dial also signed, original Breguet-style steel hands, a very nice state of preservation, very fine collector's watch. The company's Montandon Freres was founded in 1850 in Locle and customized ultra-fine precision watches with various complications. She took part in the collective with the well-known Swiss watch companies, such as Alexis Favre and Fritz Piguet & Bachmann, in the year 1881 at the world exhibition in Melbourne and won the first prize. She has been the only Swiss company that was allowed to participate in the Yale University Contest. There, she won in a competition behind Barraud & Lund in second place.
