Ca. Ø50mm, ca. 101g, 14K Rotgold, seltene Ausführung als Halbsavonnette mit schwarz emaillierten Ziffern, Gehäuse und Werk nummerngleich 20214, A. Lange & Söhne Präzisionsankerwerk, 1.Serie der Qualität DUF noch ohne integriertem Gangradkloben und ohne Feinregulierung, Platine mit der 1. Art der DUF-Signatur, goldenes Ankerrad, seltener, dreifacher Glashütter Sonnenschliff nach Moritz Großmann auf den Aufzugsrädern, frühes, unsigniertes Emaillezifferblatt (Haarriss), gebläute, originale Stahlzeiger, optisch in sehr schönem Erhaltungszustand, Werk reinigungsbedürftig. Uhren aus der 1. Serie der Qualität DUF, also aus den Jahren 1878-1880, tauchen sehr selten auf und sind gesuchte Glashütter Sammleruhren. Die Uhr befindet sich in der vermutlich originalen Verkaufsbox der Fa. Verhagen & Cie Cöln und wird mit Stammbuchauszug geliefert. Mit der Nummer 20214 handelt es sich um die 214. DUF, die gefertigt wurde! In den Glashütter Archivunterlagen ist eine weitere frühe DUF verzeichnet, die mit der hier vorliegenden Uhr vergleichbar ist, die Nummer 20322, ebenfalls verkauft durch Verhagen & Cie.: "Am 14. Dezember 1879 verkaufte die Firma A. Lange & Söhne eine goldene Halbsavonette-Taschenuhr der Marke "Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation Glashütte" (DUF) an die Firma Dürrstein & Co. Dresden. Die im Original erhaltene Uhr wurde auf Kundenwunsch bereits von der Firma A. Lange & Söhne mit der Signatur der Köllner Uhren Groß- und Einzelhandlung "Fa. J. Verhagen & Co Cöln." versehen. Neben der Gehäusform "Jürgens" mit einem Feingehalt von 750/1000 ist ein interessanter Aspekt bei dieser sehr seltenen Modellausführung vom Kaliber 43 (19-linig) der dreifache Glashütter Sonnenschliff nach Moritz Großmann auf den Aufzugsrädern.
