Ø58mm, ca. 172g, Originalgehäuse aus 18K Rotgold, extrem schwere Ausführung, prächtig graviert und guillochiert, Gehäusemacherpunze FC/FHB, rückseitig Adelswappen, originaler Staubdeckel, sehr seltenes und hochfeines Kaliber, Duplexhemmung, große Stahlunruh, seltene Temperatur-Kompensation, Diamantdeckstein, prächtige Werksgravur, signiert Vulliamy rmz London, origninales Emaillezifferblatt (kleine Mängel im Randbereich), originaler Stundenzeiger in Herzform, ergänzter Minutenzeiger, gangbar und gut erhalten. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine frühe englische Präzisionsuhr von hervorragender Werksqualität mit einem extrem schweren Goldgehäuse. Die Vulliamy's waren eine angesehene Uhrmacherfamilie in London. Justin Vulliamy (*1712 in der Schweiz; †1797 in England) war ein bekannter Uhrmacher. 1730 wanderte er nach England aus und studierte die Uhrmacherei bei Benjamin Gray. Später heiratete er Grays Tochter Mary und arbeitete mit ihm in seiner Uhrenmanufaktur in Londons Pall Mall zusammen. Sein Sohn Benjamin Vulliamy (1747–1811) wurde ebenfalls Uhrmacher und übernahm ab 1775 die fachliche Leitung der Uhrenmanufaktur Vulliamy & Sons. Um 1801 nahm Benjamin Vulliamy seinen Sohn Benjamin Lewis als Partner auf. Sie verkauften überwiegend Taschenuhren mit Zylinderhemmung, verwendeten aber zunehmend Duplexhemmungen für ihre hochwertigsten Stücke.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
