Ø51mm, ca. 110g, 18K Gold, guillochiert, Münzrand, Londoner Hallmarks von 1874, Gehäuse und Werk nummerngleich 24941, exquisites Feder-Chronometerwerk mit Diamantdeckstein, Platine signiert Watchmaker to the Queen, perfekt erhaltenes, nummerngleiches und signiertes Emaillezifferblatt, gebläute Stahlzeiger, hervorragender Erhaltungszustand, funktionstüchtig. Dieses hochfeine englische Chronometer wurde von Frederick Dent gefertigt, der nach dem Tod von Edward John Dent 1853 sein Geschäft übernahm und erfolgreich weiterführte. So wie auch Edward John Dent durfte Frederick Dent den Titel "königlicher Uhrmacher" führen. Edward John Dent erhielt bereits 1841 eine königliche Genehmigung als offizieller Uhrmacher für Königin Victoria und Albert, Prinz von Wales, zu arbeiten, eine Genehmigung, die bis zur Regierungszeit von George V. verlängert wurde. Die russischen Kaiser Zar Alexander III. und Zar Nikolaus II. sowie der japanische Kaiser Mejii erteilten Dent ebenfalls königliche Genehmigungen.
