Ca. Ø60mm, ca. 183g, originales Silbergehäuse mit Meistermarke Wagner und Jahres-Punze 1864, Staubdeckel signiert Franz Joseph Vorauer in Wien No.69, signiertes, hochfeines Chronometerwerk mit zylindrischer Spirale und Diamantdeckstein, signiertes Emaillezifferblatt (kleine Ausbesserung im Randbereich neben der Sekunde), gebläute Stahlzeiger, funktionstüchtig. Franz Josef Vorauer (Joseph) war ein bedeutender Uhrmacher und wurde um 1813 in Lambach geboren. Er lebte um 1840 in Wien und war der erste der Wiener Uhrmacher, der sich mit der Anfertigung echter Chronometer befasste. Bereits 1843 reichte er ein von ihm gefertigtes Chronometer zur Prüfung ein. Er stellte auf der Wiener Gewerbeausstellung im Jahre 1845 drei seiner Chronometer aus. Seine hervorragenden Leistungen auf diesem Gebiet wurden mit der goldenen Medaille ausgezeichnet. Er erlangte 1845 die Meisterwürde.
