TASSO, Torquato (1544-1595) - La Gerusalemme Liberata. Genoa: Giuseppe Pavoni , 1617. A good copy of this fine edition illustrated by Bernardo Castello. Folio (285 x 200mm). Frontispiece and title engraved with the portraits of the author and dedicatee, each Canto with full-page engraved illustrations, large woodcut illustration and initial, the illustration at Canto IV printed separately and neatly pasted as in other copies examined (occasional light spots). Modern binding backed in leather decorated in gilt on spine over marbled paper boards and matching case.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
