Das Werk im Rolex Cal. 618 mit Handaufzug, Streifenschliff und Punzierung "Rolex 17 Rubis". Vernickeltes Gehäuse, die originale verschraubte Krone mit Aufschrift "Brevet". Der 12-eckige, verschraubte Boden innenseitig poliert mit Herstellerpunzierung "Rolex S.A. Geneve Suisse", Referenznummer "3646" sowie der Gehäusenummer "260804". Rs. Gravur "AV - Marine Kampf-Schwimmer 1945". Diese Uhren wurden von Panerai in Zusammenarbeit mit Rolex hergestellt. Funktionsfähig, Glas und Armband nach dem Krieg ergänzt.
Weitere Uhren der Referenz 3646/Typ D sind in dem Buch "Vintage Panerai - The References" von Ralf Ehlers & Volker Wiegmann in Kapitel II.IV (Seite 398-531) aufgeführt, welches auch ein historisches Foto eines Kampfschwimmers mit einer Panerai Ref. 3646 mit Messing-Zifferblatt enthält (Seite 475). In diesem Teil des Buches ist eine Übersicht über verschiedene dekorative Polituren auf den Innenseiten der Gehäuse (Typ A-Typ G) abgebildet (Seite 486).

Black sandwich dial with noctilucent Arabic numerals and blued hands, no maker's mark. The watch mechanism in Rolex 618 calibre with manual winding, stripe finish and punch mark "Rolex 17 Rubis". Nickel-plated case, the original screw-mounted crown with inscription "Brevet". The dodecagonal screwed bottom polished on the inside with manufacturer's mark "Rolex S.A. Geneve Suisse", reference number "3646" and case number "260804". On the reverse engraved "AV - Marine Kampf-Schwimmer 1945". These watches were manufactured by Panerai in cooperation with Rolex. In working order, glass and strap replaced after the war.
Further watches of reference 3646/type D are listed in the book "Vintage Panerai - The References" by Ralf Ehlers & Volker Wiegmann in chapter II.IV (page 398-531), which also shows a historic photograph of a combat swimmer wearing a Panerai reference 3646 with brass dial (page 475). First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
