Ø57.5mm, ca. 143g, original silver case, No. 3630, Swiss case of English construction, original dome, plate signed Frédéric Louis Favre au Locle 1er Classe, extremely rare escapement, combination of rack lever escapement and Massey escapement, so called "Pirouette-Lever", diamond endstone, escapement wheel with 30 teeth, original enamel dial with 15-seconds counter, blued steel hands, running and in very good condition, from a technical point of view an absolute rarity. The watch was made by Frédéric-Louis Favre-Bulle (1770-1849), one of the most important chronometer makers in the history of Swiss watchmaking and especially that of Le Locle, a contemporary of Jacques-Frédéric Houriet (1743-1830) and Urban Jürgensen (1776-1830).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
