Fifth illustrated edition of Terentius printed by Soardi afer the first which appeared in 1494. The version and commentary is by Josse Bade to which are added those of Donat, Giovanni Calfurnio and Guy Jouenneaux framing the original Terentius text. The large illustration on the verso of the title shows Terentius on the pulpit surrounded by his commentators.

Large full-page illustration on the verso of title, numerous illustrations in the text, initials, manicule, cupids, suns and moons woodcut to margins, printer's device on colophon (lacking leaf 41 [f5], title reinforced with support paper to replace losses, a2 and a3 with small wormholes, sporadic small wormtracks generally in the margin, but touching the text at the colophon, some stains, light ink stains near the notes, several notes trimmed). Contemporary mid 19-century boards backed on cloth spine with gilt title (light wear).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
