Bel exemplaire sur Japon de ce livre élégant, dans une sobre reliure de l'époque. Célèbre ouvrage illustré par le peintre orientaliste André Suréda (1872-1930), dont les compositions originales, des aquarelles exécutées au Maroc, ont été gravées par Louis-Ferdinand Schmied, qui a su "tirer du bois en couleurs des effets précieux qui relèvent plus de l'enluminure que de la gravure

In-4 (300 x 228 mm). 53 compositions originales de A. Suréda, gravées sur bois en couleurs par F.-L. Schmied. Un des 120 exemplaires sur Japon réservés aux membres de la Société. Reliure de l'époque en maroquin noisette, décor géométrique en tête et queue des plats, se prolongeant sur le dos lisse, de pièces mosaïquées de maroquin ébène et chair et de filets à froid, doublure de moire cramoisie, encadrement des mêmes cuirs et décors que les plats, garde de moire cramoisie, tranches dorées, étui (dos passé).Provenance : exemplaire nominatif imprimé pour M. Fernand Ropsy -- sur le premier feuillet blanc, ex-dono daté de 1973.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
