THE MEDALLION BY TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, CIRCA 1885

Obv. head left, with gold crest and ruby-set eye, gold feet and tail with fine opaque white enamel feathers, the large medallion with three senators presenting sword to Cincinnatus with his wife, two children and home behind him and with inky blue enamel sky above, the motto in gold lettering reads OMNIA . RELIQUIT . SERVARE . REMPUBLICAN *

Rev. the tail with two layers of five straight feathers, the medallion with Cincinnatus at the plow, with striated fields to either side of him and fame above, the lower medallion with clasped hands above ribbon swag on a bright green ground, the motto SOCIETAS . CINCINNATORIUM . INSTITUTA . AD 1783* on white ground

The wings cast and chased with feathers, a wreath of bright green enamel leaves above connect to a fixed suspension ring, with larger ring above and blue and white ribbon hand-sewn to a bar pin
