From the Jurassic (circa 150 million years ago), the 13-inch specimen of Plesiotheutis prisca with tentacles writhing, in a fine state of preservation with the compacted head exhibiting clear crystals, with thin fossil vegetation to the front and reverse, preserved on both sides of original limestone matrix.
