THREE-PIECE SILVER AND IVORY TEA SET "BLOSSOM".

Jensen, Georg. Kopenhagen.

Date: Around 1925-32.
Maker/Designer: Model Georg Jensen, around 1905. Model 2.
Technique: Silver. Ivory.
Description: Consisting of a bulbous teapot with vegetal knob and side handle, sugar bowl and milk jug.
Surfaces with slight martelé finish.
Weight: Ca. 835g.
Measurement: Height tea pot 13cm.
Mark: Denmark, Sterling, maker's mark Georg Jensen with pearl wreath & crown, signed GI 925 S, model numbers 2C/2B/2A. English import marks.
Sugar bowl additional with "Dessin GJ".

Provenance:
Private collection southern Germany.

- All pieces with corresponding signs of use such as slight rubbing and minor scratches. - The two ivory handles with quite noticeable age cracks, but well and firmly seated in mounts. - The three items in need of professional cleaning.
