One, the cup painted with a detail from Peter the Great in the storm on Lake Ladoga by Charles de Steuben, within a gilt ciselé border, the saucer decorated en suite, probably by the Batenin Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, first half 19th century, indistinctly incised with an initial under base; the other, the cup and saucer decorated with gilt ciselé scrolling foliage design, with a band of biscuit foliage and ribbons, marked under base with impressed Gardner Porcelain Factory marks, Moscow, first half 19th century; the other, the cobalt blue cup and saucer with gilt ciselé laurel rims, the teacup centring a cartouche depicting the statue of Peter the Great in St Petersburg, marked under base with blue printed Lomonosov Porcelain Factory marks, Leningrad, circa 1950s
