One, realistically modelled and painted as a coachman wearing a blue unglazed coat, black top hat, and black boots, standing with arms akimbo, on a square base with gilt edge, marked under base with blue underglaze Gardner porcelain factory mark, also inscribed with numerals; the other, realistically modelled and painted as a bearded balalaika player wearing a hat, on a naturalistic oval base, apparently unmarked, probably by the Popov porcelain factory; the other, realistically modelled and painted as a Russian soldier, in uniform and carrying a rifle, on an oval base with French inscription 'Russ: Infanterist', apparently unmarked, incised under base with initials 'VP', probably France
