A circular St. Cloud example, painted inside and out with flowering branches issuing from rockwork, the top with an iron-red scale pattern ground, circa 1728, the mounts with the décharge of Jacques Cottin and Louis Gervais, Paris, 1726-1732, 23/4 in. (7 cm.) diameter

A Chantilly example modeled as a bearded reclining figure in a flower-patterned blue robe, the cover painted with flowers and butterflies, circa 1740, the mounts of a similar date, 25/8 in. (6.6 cm.) wide

A bombé-shaped oval example, possibly Villeroy le Roi, painted with figures seated at low tables in gardens of flowering shrubs, the interior of the cover with colorful foliage issuing from rockwork enriched with gilding, circa 1728, the mounts with indistinct mark, the décharge of Jacques Cottin and Louis Gervais, Paris, 1726-32, and unidentified mark of an anvil, 25/8 in. (6.6 cm.) wide
