Salor (?), Turkmenistan, 1. Half of the 19th century. Century
The "Kedjebe"pattern is the dominant pattern motif. In between set six complete and two angeschittene diamond motifs are on cylamfarbenem Silk. Stacked S-motifs flanking a main border with a cassette structure with a four-split diamond cores. The flavor is dominated by cochineal (silk), Red and a large color component of a color tone that moves between brown, Apricot, and brick. The work appears on first glance, the Saryk assigned. The piece with ripsigem back, however, is linked in the left open nodes, a typical structure characteristic of the Saloren.

Provenance: From the estate of a prominent European private collection. Comparison: Tsareva, Turkmen Carpets, Hoffmeister Collection, 2011, Fig. 10 and 11. - Both narrow sides part. incomplete and Schirasi renewed. The lower edge of the reduced, repaired cracks, minimst downstream builds. The upper edge min. The purple Seidenflor damaged very low. Signs of wear.
