Milan: 16 Dicembre 1919-16 Febbraio 1920. The contract, signed with Alfredo Carlotti, La Scala's First oboe and later an important musical impresario, refers to the direction of 4 concerts and 2 works. Aida and Tosca which would be held in Prague from March 6 to March 28, 1920. The fee was of 3,000 lire per representation, corresponding to 3,500 euros today. The autograph document, dated 16/02/1920 shows the draft of the lineup of the first two concerts with pieces by classical and contemporary composers. A nice testimony on the "commercial" background of Toscanini's activity as director. (290 x 220mm). [1] typescript on letterhead "Concerti Prof. Cav.
