Petit in-12 oblong (145 x 80 ) 58 ff, la grande majorité annotés recto-verso à l'encre violette, mine de plomb ou crayon de couleur. Quelques rares croquis et un joli visage au crayon bleu au feuillet numéroté 27, les gardes sont également utilisées et annotées, l'un porte un timbre de l'exposition universelle de Bruxells de 1910 et l'autre une gravure qui pourrait ressembler à un village pyrénéen sous la neige. Aux feuillets 3 et 4, un mot d'un protagoniste non identifié, vraisemblablement à l'attention du docteur Gutmann. Reliure de toile beige avec lacet.
Provenance : Dr. René-Albert Gutmann (1885-1981) -- par descendance aux propriétaires actuels.
Fascinant petit carnet de notes du poète Paul-Jean Toulet regroupant des commentaires surtout sur l'art.
Le poète y note de différentes couleurs et dans tous les sens, ces impressions sur l'art, majoritairement, de ses visites dans les musées, expositions et salons. En visite à Anvers, il note : "772 - Vranck (1575-1647) (Vrancx). Sur le frottis jaunâtre d'un paysage, curieux duel de cavalerie d'un Paolo Uccello néerlandais - vert étouffé, noir sépia".
Au cours de ses déambulations, il note ses questionements auxquels, de retour, il semble chercher les explications qu'il note également dans son carnet. Il aborde également la dénationalisation de certains peintres.
Il commente également quelques sentences relevées ici ou là, qu'il commente : " 'les mutilations des oeuvres artistiques sont un des moyens d'en augmenter la beauté' par Ch. Garnier". Toulet ajoute : "on dirait que Rodin l'a lu"
Enfin, il note scrupuleusement des résultats de vente aux enchères.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
