Steifer konischer Korpus, außen mit schwarzem Mohairfilz bezogen, oben am schwarzen Lederdeckel umlaufend ein Band aus dunkelblauem Samt (berieben). Stirnseitig ein mit zwei Lederkeilen fixiertes Strahlenemblem aus geprägtem, vergoldetem Buntmetall. Darüber eine mit schwarzem Leder verdeckte Öffnung für die Kokarde (fehlt), darauf die versilberte Verbandsnummer "1". Mehrgliedrige Schuppenbänder mit roter Lederunterlage an plastischen Löwenköpfen. Braunes Lederlaschenfutter (teils vom Rand gelöst) mit Tintenstempel (undeutlich), an der Unterseite des Deckels roter Siegellack. An der Unterseite des ledernen Vorderschirms der zeitgenössisch eingeritzte Trägername "G. J. Werner". Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren. Höhe 17 cm. Gut erhaltene, frühe Kopfbedeckung. Laut Einlieferer von der Altonaer Bürgerwehr stammend.

Stiff conical body, the exterior covered with black mohair felt, the leather top surrounded by a dark blue velvet trim (rubbed). The obverse bearing an embossed star plate of gilt non-ferrous metal held by two leather wedges. Surmounted by a hole for the (missing) cockade covered by black leather with the silver-plated unit number "1". Multi-link chinscales with red backing on lion head bosses. Brown leather flap lining (partially detached from the edge) with (illegible) ink stamp, the underside of the top with red seal lacquer. The original owner's name "G. J. Werner" scratched to the underside of the leather front peak. Partially slightly damaged, signs of wear and age. Height 17 cm. Well preserved, early military hat. According to the consignor used by the Altona militia.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
