One, realistically modelled and painted as a peasant in traditional tunic and cap with boots wrapped in bast-shoes, pushing a wheelbarrow loaded with a bundle of firewood formed as an inkwell with cover, marked under base with red overglaze factory mark, late 19th century; the other, realistically modelled and painted as a bearded fish seller wearing a sheepskin coat tied with a sash and with a white kerchief, mittens and boots wrapped in bast-shoes, balancing a two-handled tray on his head, on a rocaille base, marked under base with impressed factory marks and painted blue numeral '86', circa 1810-1830
