Interessantes Aktenkonvolut eines Eisenbahnbeamten des "Eisenbahn-Directions-Bezirks Magdeburg". Enthält unter anderem sein Taufzeugnis (ausgestellt 1904), sein "Schul=Entlassungs=Zeugniß" (datiert 1881), Zeugnis der Baugwerkschule 1887, Landsturmschein (1891), den Staatsangehörigkeitsausweis (mit Foto) des Königreichs Preußen (1916), Aufnahmeurkunde in das Großherzogtum Sachsen (1916), Verleihung des Bürgerrechts in Weimar (1916), Verleihungsurkunde für das Verdienstkreuz für Kriegshilfe (1917), notarielle Aufnahme seiner Verlassenschaft nach seinem Tod 1929, mit vielen Todesanzeigen. Dazu die umfangreiche Dokumentation seiner gesamten Eisenbahnerlaufbahn, von der Einstellung 1890, seiner Bestallungsurkunde als Beamter, bis hin zu seiner Pensionierung nach 33 Dienstjahren im Jahr 1922. Dazu der Akt über die Zwangsversteigerung eines landwirtschaftlichen Anwesens auf Betreiben der Witwe Benno Hoffmanns, da dessen Besitzer einen bei Hoffmann aufgenommenen Kredit nicht zurückzahlen konnte.

The lot contains his certificate of baptism, various school reports, his military service card ("Landsturmschein", 1891), his Prussian certificate of nationality (1916, with his photography), his citizenship certificate of the Grand-duchy of Saxonia, his right of citizenship to Weimar, the award certificate for the war merit cross (1917), a notary's inheritance procedure after his death 1929. Accompagnied by numerous documents encompassing his entire career with the railroad service, starting with his employee contract in 1890, promotion documents, award certificate for 25 years of service, ending with his retirement due to bad health in 1922 after 33 years of service.
Also included is the documentation of a law suit his widow filed against a debitor, who couldn't repay a loan he received from Benno Hoffmann, and thus had his farmhouse auctioned off.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
