Das Heilige Inquisitionsamt von Cordoba und Jaen ernennt in dieser Urkunde Don Andres Fernandez de Cordaba y Cabrera, Ritter der Hirten von Alcantara und Graf von Torres Cabrera zum Vertrauten (Familiar) dieser Behörde. Als weltlicher Assistent der Inquisition erhält er in der Urkunde das Recht Waffen zu tragen und verschiedene Privilegien. Zugleich unterliegt er als Teil des Inquisitionsapparates einer Sondergerichtsbarkeit.
Mit farbigen, handgemalten Ranken eingerahmter Text auf Pergament. Unten Firmierung der Inquisitionsbeamten und Siegel, dieses mit Spuren von Insektenfraß. Am linken unteren Eck gleichfalls Insektenfraßspuren. Vertikal und horizontal in der Mitte eine Knickspur. Sonst sehr gut erhaltene Urkunde der spanischen Inquisition. Maße 46 x 35 cm.
