UTAGAWA HIROSHIGE, KURODO BAY IN KAZUSA PROVINCE Woodblock print, mounted under passepartout Japan, 1858. 37x25.5 cm. The picture depicts the scene of fishing boats passing by in the Kurodo Bay area in south-central Chiba Prefecture, from the series "Fuji sanjurokkei", signed on the left side "Hiroshige ga", with censor's seal "Horse 4" (1858, 4th month), published by Tsutaya Kichizo. Slightly stained.
