Achtkantiger, in rund übergehender Lauf mit glatter Seele im Kaliber 11 mm. Über der Kammer geschlagenes Monogramm "HW", eine kleine Blütenmarke sowie die Datierung "1612". Schloss mit flacher Platte, außenliegendem Rad und schiebbarer Pfannenabdeckung. Abzug mit großer, außenliegender Feder. Vollschäftung aus Nussbaumholz mit Einlagen aus graviertem und geschwärztem Bein zwischen feinem Spandekor. Durchbrochen gearbeitete eiserne Kolbenkappe, eingeschobener Ladestock mit eiserner Gewindehülse. Vorderschaft an der linken Seite gebrochen, eine Beinrosette und die Ladestockhülse verloren. Die Nase aus graviertem Bein unvollständig. Durch Restaurierung gut zu verbessern. Länge 58 cm.
Der Büchsenmacher "HW" wird allgemein dem Thüringer Raum zugerechnet und war dort vermutlich in Suhl tätig.

Two-stage smooth-bore barrel, octagonal then round, in 11 mm calibre. The monogram "HW" struck at the breech, along with a small floral mark and the year "1612". The lock fitted with a flat plate, external wheel and sliding pan cover. Set trigger with a large external spring. The full shaft made of walnut with inlays of engraved and blackened bone interspersed with fine filigree decoration. Openwork iron butt cap, inset ramrod with threaded iron sleeve. The forearm cracked on the left, one bone rosette and the ramrod sleeve have been lost. The engraved bone nose is incomplete. Can easily be improved by restoration. Length 58 cm.
The gunsmith "HW" is generally documented for the region of Thuringia and was presumably active in Suhl.
