Rechteckige Kassette aus feuervergoldetem Messing und Kupfer, die halbrunden Füße eine spätere Ergänzung. Die Kanten mit durchbrochen gearbeiteten Auflagen verziert, das frontale Schlüsselschild fehlt. Scharniergelagerter Deckel, Schlüssellochabdeckung und Tragegriff fehlen. Die gebläute Schlossmechanik unvollständig, Schlüssel fehlt. Auf der Innenseite des Bodens signiert mit kleiner Punze "M". Allseitig fein radierter jagdlicher Dekor mit Darstellung von Jägern und Hunden bei der Hirschjagd. Auf dem Boden die Darstellung eines springenden Hasen. Maße 4,3 x 7,3 x 4,9 cm.

Rectangular strongbox of fire-gilt brass and copper, the semi-circular feet a later addition. The edges decorated with openwork appliqués, the escutcheon at the front is missing. Hinged lid, keyhole cover and handle are missing. The blued lock mechanism incomplete, key missing. The bottom punched on the inside with small mark "M". All sides decorated with finely etched hunting scenes depicting hunters and dogs at a deer hunt. On the bottom depiction of a leaping hare. Dimensions 4.3 x 7.3 x 4.9 cm.
