Rechteckiges Kästchen aus Messingblech mit Resten von Feuervergoldung. Seiten und Deckel mit fein graviertem Dekor. Auf den Seiten je eine Porträtkartusche zwischen Rankendekor, auf dem Deckel Hauszeichen mit "MK" in Blattkranz zwischen Blattranken. Auf der Rückseite datiert "1549". Vorderseitig eisernes Schloss mit Hohldornschlüssel. Auf dem Boden zwei ungedeutete Marken. Maße 5,2 x 9 x 6,2 cm.

The rectangular casket made of sheet brass with remnants of fire gilding. The sides and lid embellished with finely engraved décor. A portrait cartouche amidst decorative tendrils on each side, a house symbol struck on the lid, with "MK" in a wreath of leaves between leafy vines. Dated "1549" on the back. The iron lock on the front with a hollow shank key. Two unidentified hallmarks stamped in the base. Dimensions 5.2 x 9 x 6.2 cm.
