Vier Hälften von zweiteiligen Gussformen aus grauem Glimmerschiefer für den Serienguss von Lanzenspitzen, Meißeln und Flachbeilen, Tülle der Formen für Meißel mit Fischgrätenzier. Form für Flachbeile sehr gut erhalten, die anderen mit Abplatzungen bzw. Fehlstellen am Rand, ein Fragment der Form für Lanzenspitzen wieder angeklebt. Längen 9,3 - 19,1 cm.
Provenienz: Rheinhessische Privatsammlung, erworben 2009 bei Hermann Historica (A 58 am 7. Oktober, Los 217). Aus der Sammlung Axel Guttmann (AG 1082, 1083, 1084, 1087), erworben 1991 in München. Four Late Bronze Age stone moulds, 12th - 10th century B.C.
Four halves of two-part moulds of grey micaceous schist for the serial casting of lance points, chisels and flat axes, the spouts of the moulds for chisels with herringbone decoration. Mould for flat axes in very good condition, the others with chipping or missing parts at the rim, a fragment of the mould for lance points glued back on. Lengths 9.3 - 19.1 cm.
Provenance: German private collection, acquired 2009 at Hermann Historica (Auction 58, lot 217). From the Axel Guttmann Collection (AG 1082, 1083, 1084, 1087), acquired in Munich in 1991. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
