Four iron nails to dam the marching boots of the Roman legionaries were. The heads are pointed, tapered. On its underside, the late-Republican pieces typical pattern of a cross with four humps. Good Iron Substance. Diameter 1.7-1.8 cm. A height of 1.4 to 1.6 cm. Similar nails are bearings known from the military, such as Alesia or, more recently, the Huns ring at hermeskeil, the of Caesar's legions during the Gallic war (58 - 51 BC) were built.
