Copy n. 258 of 455 signed by the illustrator of this fine work in dark half morocco decorated in gilt by Marot-Rodde with an original pen sketch by the illustrator inserted.

4to (323 x 254mm). Etched portrait as frontispiece, title in red and black, numerous illustrations at the beginning and end of chapters, 3 plates outside the text, a suite of 4 unpublished watercolour illustrations at the end in double state (some browning). Half morocco by Marot-Rodde, fine decorated endpapers, editoriale wrappers preserved. The lot also includes Le Cabaret des Trois Vertus by SAINT-JUIRS (Paris: L. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
