Kal. 4 (Signal), Nr. 1944, nummerngleich, das Laufbündel ohne Nummer. Reinigungsbedürftiges Laufbündel, Länge 90 mm. Beschuss Krone/"A", Adler sowie Krone/"B". Links am Gehäuse "I.M." für Immanuel Meffert, darunter S/N. Originale Brünierung von Griff, Gehäuse und Laufbündel nahezu vollständig erhalten, partiell mit Flugrost bzw. Narben, Läufe fleckig. Durch behutsame Reinigung zu verbessern. Die glatten, nrngl. Nussholzgriffschalen mit normalen Gebrauchsspuren. Der "Double Action"-Abzug betätigt bei jedem Durchdrücken jeweils den nächsten Schlagbolzen, Reihenfolge vom oberen zum nächst unteren Lauf. Mechanik funktioniert soweit ersichtlich einwandfrei. Rarität ersten Ranges. Von den Ende des Ersten Weltkrieges gefertigten 2.500 Stück sind heute noch ca. 25 bekannt. Vgl. auch Wolfgang Kern, "Deutsche Leucht- und Signalpistolen", S. 147 ff.

Cal. 4 (Signal), SN. 1944, matching numbers, the barrels unnumbered.
Barrels in need of cleaning, length 90 mm. Proof marks crown/"A", eagle and crown/"B". On the left side of the receiver "I.M." (=Immanuel Meffert), below S/N. The original finish of grip, receiver and barrels > 97%, partially with surface rust and minor pitting, barrels spotted. Can be improved by careful cleaning. Smooth walnut grips with matching numbers and normal signs of use.
With each pull the double-action trigger activates the firing pin of the next barrel, from top to bottom. The mechanism seems to work properly. A flare gun of utmost rarity! Only 25 of the 2.500 pistols produced at the end of WW I are known to exist to this day. Cf. also Wolfgang Kern, "Deutsche Leucht- und Signalpistolen", p. 147 ff.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
