A FINE CYCLAM GLAZED LOBED PORCELAIN VASE - China, 18th/ 19th c. - The lobed baluster body is divided into four zones and beautifully shaped simulating a crabapple blossom, rising from a splayed foot to a projecting neck. The exterior covered with monochrome cyclam-coloured glaze. - From the collection of merchant Alfred Julius Forkel (1873-1934), assembled in China prior to 1910, drawn and described in the collector's diary, written between 1901 and 1910, on page 69, no. 19 - Chip at the mouth rim, stand very slightly chipped
