Öl/Leinwand, 46 x 66 cm, rechts unten signiert und datiert Weite Fauerhold 68. - Dänischer Marinemaler. F. studierte 1846-52 an der Akademie Kopenhagen. Er stellte 1854-67 regelmäßig im Schloss Charlottenburg aus. 1865 kam er für einen kurzen Aufenthalt nach Düsseldorf, ließ sich dann aber dauerhaft nieder. Seine romantisch-realistischen Marinestücke stehen in der Tradition des großen C. Weite Eckersberg. Museum: Kopenhagen, Stockholm (Nat.-Mus.) unter anderem Literatur: Saur, Thieme-Becker, Bénézit, Weilbach u.a.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
