Rock aus feinem, dunkelblauem Wolltuch mit weißen Vorstößen, weißer Stehkragen und weiße Ärmelaufschläge mit gelben Kolbenlitzen und goldener Tresse, glatte, vergoldete Messingknöpfe der Marke "Extra Fein", an beiden Seiten des Kragens je ein Sergeantenknopf (29 mm) mit reliefiertem Ankersymbol unter Kaiserkrone. Eingenähte, weiße Schulterstücke mit gelb aufgesticktem Ankersymbol, Kaiserkrone und römischer Ziffer "III". Schwarzes, glänzendes Futter mit einer Brustinnen- und zwei Schoßinnentaschen, im Kragen das Schneideretikett "L. H. Berger, Collani & Cie/Hoflieferanten S.M. d. Kaisers". Dazu eine Hose aus dunkelblauem Gabardinetuch mit weißen Vorstößen und Kunststoffknöpfen von "L. H. Berger", zwei Seitentaschen, eine Uhrentasche, lederne Fußstege, weißes Leinenfutter. Kleinere Mottenschäden, Metalloberflächen berieben, Trage- und Altersspuren. Von allergrößter Seltenheit und in schöner, farbfrischer Erhaltung. Am 3.12.1897 entsteht aus der 1. und 2. Kompanie des I. Seebataillons und der 3. und 4. Kompanie des II. Seebataillons das III. Seebataillon und wird zum Schutz des deutschen Pachtgebiets Kiautschou nach Tsingtau verlegt. Zustand: II
