Abstraktes Werk des Künstlers aus der "Verschollenen Generation", dessen Oeuvre größtenteils dem Expressiven Realismus zuzurechnen ist. Becker studierte an der Großherzoglich Badischen Kunstschule in Karlsruhe bei Walter Conz und 1922/23 an der Kunstakademie in Dresden als Meisterschüler von Karl Albiker. 1924-1936 war Becker in Südfrankreich ansässig, wo er André Derain, Jules Pascin und Georges Braque kennenlernte. Aus finanziellen Gründen musste Becker nach Deutschland zurückkehren, wo seine Werke einerseits in der Aktion "Entartete Kunst" beschlagnahmt wurden, er aber dennoch eingeschränkt ausstellen durfte. 1951 wurde Becker Lehrer und 1952 Professor an der Kunstakademie Karlsruhe, wo er bis 1958 tätig war. In den 1950er Jahren und seit 1976 entstanden stärker abstrahierende bzw. völlig abstrakte Arbeiten. Öl/Lwd. Verso monogr.; 110 cm x 68 cm Rahmen.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
