Kal. 9mmLuger, Nr. 3, spiegelblanker Lauf, Länge 150 mm. Der Schlitten unter der Firmierung bezeichnet mit "P38 Mod.S". Vollständige originale Hochglanzbrünierung, gelb angelassene Bedienelemente. Glatte Nussholzgriffschalen, beidseitig im Stahlgriffstück verschraubt. Magazin. Nahezu neue Erhaltung.
In den 60er Jahren vom Büchsenmacher Georg von Stavenhagen in geringer Stückzahl modifizierte P 38, aus von Walther gelieferten und aus Wehrmachtsteilen, in jeweils unterschiedlichen Lauflängen gefertigt. Modifiziert wurden hauptsächlich Visierung, Hahn, Abzug mit Triggerstop, Sicherung. Sauber eingepasster Griffrücken aus Stahl, brüniert. Am Griffstück links das Firmenlogo von Stavenhagen. Von der Kleinserie sollen maximal 7 Stück gefertigt worden sein.

Cal. 9mmLuger, SN. 3, mirror-like bore. Barrel length 150 mm. The slide marked with company name, underneath "P38 Mod.S". Original finish > 99%, small parts strawed. Smooth walnut grips, each one attached to frame. Magazine. Almost as-new.
Gunsmith Georg von Stavenhagen modified a small number of P 38 pistols with parts supplied by Walther resp. left-overs from the Wehrmacht. He made various barrel lengths and modified sights, hammer, trigger with trigger-stop, safety. Nicely matching anodized rear grip strap. The left-hand side of the grip with Stavenhagen's company logo. About 7 units are known to have been made.
