Öl auf Lwd. 67,5 x 53 cm. Doubliert. Rahmen min. besch. Emil Jakob Schindler war in der Wiener Kunstszene der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jh. sehr präsent. Er gestaltete Reiseberichte mit Illustrationen für die Wiener Illustrierte Zeitung, bekam Aufträge aus dem Adel und war eng befreundet mit Hans Markart. Im Rahmen der Jahresausstellung des Wiener Künstlerhauses erhielt er 1880 den Reichel'schen Künstlerpreis. Diese Erfolge erreichte er vor allem durch sein Talent und sein Gespür, der Natur in seinen Bildern Leben einzuhauchen. Ein besonderes Augenmerk legte er auf die Darstellung von Wasser, welche er als die schwierigste Aufgabe für einen Künstler verstand. Schindler vermochte es, das unruhigste Gewässer in einem Moment festhalten, was auch vorliegendes Gemälde auszeichnet. Provenienz: Privatsammlung Österreich. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
