China, Republic Period Porcelain. H. ca. 29.5 cm. The Buddha holds pouch in his right hand and mala in his left, wears a robe decorated with bats and clouds in underglaze blue. On the bottom is a mark ''Wei Hongtai Zao''. With slight traces of age, partially damaged or cracked. Provenance: From a private collection in Düsseldorf, family-owned since the 1960s.
