Die Zeichnung mit dem Titel 'Kornwucher' ist Teil einer Serie von Zeichnungen, die Werner Tübke im Jahr 1977 im Rahmen seines Panorama-Projekts geschaffen hat. Dies geschah zu einem Zeitpunkt, an dem die Einarbeitung in das Thema so weit fortgeschritten war, dass sich die Motivsammlung in zunehmend frei fabulierenden Menschenszenen entlud. Diese Zeichnung stellt ein bemerkenswertes Beispiel dar, da sie organische Abläufe in einer Bildanordnung zeigt, die immer noch hauptsächlich auf der Zentralperspektive basiert. Obwohl das Motiv eng mit dem Panorama-Gemälde verbunden ist, besitzt es dennoch eine eigenständige Präsenz als szenische Variation.

The drawing entitled 'Kornwucher' is part of a series of drawings that Werner Tübke created in 1977 as part of his Panorama project. This was done at a time when the familiarisation with the subject had progressed so far that the collection of motifs was being discharged into increasingly free-fabricating human scenes. This drawing represents a remarkable example, as it shows organic processes in a pictorial arrangement that is still mainly based on central perspective. Although the motif is closely related to the panorama painting, it nevertheless has an independent presence as a scenic variation.
