[WICKEFORT, Abraham de (1598-1682)]. Advis fidelle aux véritables hollandois. Touchant de ce qui s’est passé dans les villages de Bodegrave & Swammerdam, & les cruautés innoüies, que les français y ont exercées. Avec un Mémoire de la dernière marche de l’Armee du Roy de France en Brabant et en Flandre. S.l.n.d. [La Haye : Steucker], 1673.



Bel exemplaire, en vélin de l'époque, de ce célèbre pamphlet, publié alors que la guerre de Hollande fait rage, pour dénoncer les exactions commises par les troupes françaises de Louis XIV. Cet exemplaire provient de la collection de Louis Quarré-Reybourbon, célèbre collectionneur lillois de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle et membre de nombreuses sociétés savantes. Sa collection comportait des livres, manuscrits, gravures statues, tableaux ainsi que des enseignes, léguées au Musée de l’Hospice Comtesse, à Lille. Soultrait, XVIIe, II, n°321.



In-4 (230 x 185 mm). Première édition dans ce format. 8 gravures dépliantes (donnant 10 sujets) signées dans la plaque par Romeyn de Hooghe, ici avant la lettre puisque non numérotées (quelques piqûres et rousseurs). Reliure à la Bradel en vélin ivoire de l’époque, titre et date à l’encre sur le dos. Provenance : ex-libris de Louis Quarré-Reybourbon (1824-1906).
