Bauer in roter Jacke mit Korb oder Holzbottich
Das um 1875 entstandene Gemälde Buschs gehört zu der großen Werkreihe mit dem für ihn zentralen, sehr individuellen Motiv der sog. "Rotjacken", auf den die Figuren eine für den bäuerlichen Alltag außergewöhnliche rote Jacke tragen. Es spiegelt zugleich den unmittelbaren Einfluss niederländisch-flämischer Maler des 17. Jhs. - wie Adriaen van Ostade, Adriaen Brower und David Teniers - auf den vor allem als humoristischen Zeichner und Dichter bekannten Künstler wider. Busch studierte 1851-1853 zunächst an der Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf und danach an der Akademie in Antwerpen, wo er begeistert die Alten Meister im Original sah. Öl/dünner Karton, auf starken Karton kaschiert. Verso Etikett mit Echtheitsbestätigung "Ich bestätige hiermit, dass umseitiges Bild 'Bauer mit Krug in der volten(?)Hand' von Wilhelm Busch gemalt ist und sich nach dessen Tode in meinem Besitz befunden hat. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
