1973. Tempera über Holzschnitt/Papier/Spanplatte, 33 x 44 cm, verso auf altem Etikett dat. 1973 sowie bez. als 2. Fassung, gerahmt unter Glas in Vitrinenrahmen, ungeöffnet. - Gutachten: Mit Kopie einer Dokumentation des Willem-Grimm-Nachlasses. - Figuren- und Landschaftsmaler. G. wurde an der Werkkunstschule Offenbach zum Lithographen ausgebildet, nach einem Aufenthalt in Worpswede 1922 studierte er an der Werkkunstschule Hamburg bei W. Titze. Er wurde gefördert von Rosa Schapire und wurde Mitglied der Hamburger und der Darmstädter Sezession, deren Stil er mitprägte. 1946 nahm er eine Professur an der Hamburger Landeskunstschule an. Die Stadt Hamburg verlieh ihm 1959 den Edwin-Scharff-Preis. Eine Retrospektive in der Hambuger Kunsthalle 2004 würdigte sein Lebenswerk. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
