Willy Moralt: Munich 1884 - 1947 LenGelbgoldries. Landscape and genre painter, studied at the Munich Academy of art, u. a. Raupp. Exhibitions, among others in the glass Palace. Painted in the style of Carl Spitzweg. Moralt, whose father was Carl Spitzweg in the doctrine, was the great-nephew of the wife of Spitzwegs brother Eduard. Subject: A feathered Breakfast. On a table in the Sunny courtyard of a romantic house located a bird on the edge of the round tabletop. From the house Lord, dressed in a green robe, is welcomed to the morning's guest lovingly. In the background there are dense trees under a blue summer sky, the front in addition to a garden with a Sand stone trough stairs as well. Oil on wood, signed lower right and inscribed "Willy Moralt Mchn.", 30.5 x 21 cm, in a decorative frame. The rear side of the top and bottom (estate ?) Pressure - Stamp “Willy Moralt“.
