1927. Pastel. 31 x 40 cm. Lo. ri. monogr. and dat. WS 1927, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German-Belgian painter who studied at the Brussels a. Ghent academies. Together with J. Ensor and T. van Rysselberghe he was co-founder of the avantgardist artrist's group 'Les XX' in Brussels in 1883. After the German invasion of Belgium in 1914 he moved to Lake Constance. S. mainly painted landscapes in impressionist and pointillist style. Mus.: Tournai, Altenburg. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
