A BRONZE LANTERN IN THE SHAPE OF A WILD GOOSE - China, probably Western Han dynasty, 206 B.C. - 8 A.D. - Cast in several parts, with partly chiselled details and remnants of painting, the goose standing facing backwards, holding a fish in its beak, below it the lantern, which stands on the goose's back and used to be regulated via a now immobile lever. In mehreren Teilen gegossen, mit teilweise ziselierten Details und Resten von Bemalung, die Gans stehend nach hinten gewandt, einen Fisch im Schnabel haltend, darunter das Windlicht, welches auf dem Rücken der Gans steht und früher mit Hilfe eines Hebels reguliert werden konnte. Der Vogel in naturgetreuer Darstellung mit detailliert ausgeformten Füßen und feinem, den Körper und Hals überdeckenden Gefieder.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
