Privat in Auftrag gegebene Maßanfertigung, hochwertige olivgrüne Schurwolle, zweimal sechs gekörnte Metallknöpfe auf der Vorderseite, offene Fasson mit dunkelbraunem Kragen und Revers für Oberführer und höhere Dienstgrade. Französische Ärmelaufschläge, schräge Seitentaschen mit Patte, Rückenschlitz mit fünf gekörnten Metallknöpfen und Gurt mit zwei größeren gekörnten Metallknöpfen. Linker Ärmel mit roter Wolle, NSDAP-Armbinde, am oberen Saum maschinell vernäht, rechter Ärmel mit handgesticktem silbernen NSKK-Abzeichen (2. Modell) mit hellbraunen Akzentfäden, in Handarbeit aufgenäht. Sehr seltenes Ärmelband aus schwarzem Samt, in der Mitte die Aufschrift "NSKK - Ehrenführer", handgestickte Ausführung mit silbernen Metallfäden, maschinell vernäht. Ein vernähtes Schulterstück aus neun silber/gold/silbernen Flechtschnüren auf schwarzem Grund mit karminroter Paspel aus Viskose, darunter weißes RZM-Papieretikett, mit einem gekörnten Metallknopf fixiert. Kragenspiegel eines Obergruppenführers aus karminroter Wolle mit silberner Einfassung, drei silbernen Eichenblättern und einem Rangstern, maschinell vernäht. Innen vollständig mit olivgrünem Viskosefutter, einschließlich der Ärmel, Hüfttasche mit Durchlass und Stofflasche mit D-Ring für die Seitenwaffe, eine Brustinnentasche mit Münchner Schneideretikett, Namenszug "General v. Epp" und Datum "16. Aug. 38". Etikett im Nacken entfernt. Geringfügiger Abrieb am oberen Rücken, ansonsten in ausgezeichnetem Zustand.
Franz Ritter von Epp (geboren Franz Epp; ab 1916 Ritter von Epp; 16. Oktober 1868 - 31. Januar 1947) war ein deutscher General und Politiker, dessen militärische Laufbahn in der Bayerischen Armee begann. Aufgrund seines erfolgreichen Kriegsdienstes wurde er 1916 in den Ritterstand erhoben. Nach dem Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs und der Auflösung des Deutschen Kaiserreichs war von Epp kommandierender Offizier im Freikorps und in der Reichswehr. Er war Mitglied der Bayerischen Volkspartei, bis er 1928 der NSDAP beitrat und in den Reichstag gewählt wurde, ein Amt, das er bis zum Ende des Dritten Reichs innehatte. Er war Reichskommissar, später Reichsstatthalter, für Bayern und Reichsleiter der NSDAP.

Privately tailored, high-quality olive-green doeskin wool, double breasted opening with twelve silver pebbled buttons in two rows of six sewn to front panels, open collar with dark-brown cloth collar and lapels reserved for ranks of Oberführer and above. French cuffs, angled waist pockets with scalloped flap closure, vented rear with five silver pebbled buttons and rear waist belt with two larger silver pebbled buttons. Left sleeve with red wool, NSDAP armband, machine-applied across top edge, right sleeve with 2nd pattern NSKK arm chevron, hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum with light-brown accent threads, hand-applied. Exceptionally rare cuff title of black velvet band, at centre "NSKK - Ehrenführer" hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum box-bullion thread, machine-applied. Single, sew-in shoulder board of nine, intertwined silver/gold/silver twist aluminum cords on a black backing with carmine rayon piping, underneath a white paper RZM tag, secured with silver pebbled button. Collar tabs for rank of Obergruppenführer of carmine wool backing, piped in silver-aluminum with aluminum oakleaf spray of three leaves and single aluminum rank pip, machine-applied. Inside fully lined in olive-green rayon to include sleeves, opening at hip pocket and cloth tab with D-ring for edged weapon suspension, single inside breast pocket with Munich tailor tag and name to "General v. Epp" with date of "16. Aug. 38". Label at neck removed. Small abrasion at upper back, otherwise excellent condition.
Franz Ritter von Epp (born Franz Epp; from 1916 as Ritter von Epp; 16 October 1868 - 31 January 1947) was a German general and politician who started his military career in the Bavarian Army. Successful wartime military service earned him a knighthood in 1916. After the end of World War I and the dissolution of the German Empire, von Epp was a commanding officer in the Freikorps and the Reichswehr. He was a member of Bavarian People's Party, before joining the Nazi Party in 1928, when he was elected as a member of the German parliament or Reichstag, a position he held until the fall of Nazi Germany. He was the Reichskommissar, later Reichsstatthalter, for Bavaria, and a Reichsleiter of the Nazi Party.
